J.J. Argueyrolles was born in 1954. Inspired by Tapies, he gave up on photography and started sculpture discovery when he was in his forties. Ten years later, he was recognized as an international sculptor and designer. His creation is mainly iron working. His furniture collections all feature minimalist-Baroque. Meanwhile, he also seeks for inspiration from Southeast Asia, and creates many sculptures and monumental architectures. In 2004, he created monumental sculptures and fountains in granite in India; in 2008, he started creation in Thailand about new collection of furniture in bronze and monumental sculpture in bronze.
